    Overview

There are places that are beautiful. And there are places that are beautiful… and mysterious.

Pelion is one of them. This is the mountain that the ancient Greeks spoke of with great respect. The mountain where heroes were raised. The mountain where legends began. The mountain whose wood was used to build the ship that changed the course of history. But I will tell you that story when we get there. Today, Pelion is a series of stone villages hidden among lush greenery. It is narrow streets, ancient plane trees, coffee with views of the sea and the mountains. It is a road where every turn looks like a postcard. We will visit several authentic villages, walk around, and stop wherever we feel like staying a little longer. If you wish (for overnight trips), we can also take the famous mountain train with the narrowest railway gauge in the world (40 cm). The route runs through forests and across historic stone bridges. It is a short journey, but very atmospheric. We will also stop in Volos — the city from which one of the most famous sea voyages of antiquity once began. This trip is perfect for those who love: — nature without crowds — authentic villages — stories worth listening to — roads worth remembering ✔️ This trip can also be combined with Meteora (as part of a two-day itinerary or with the night liturgy). ✔️ Or with the island of Skiathos. The route can be customized individually — it can be made more nature-focused, more seaside-oriented with a workshop, or simply more relaxed. Pelion is not a loud destination. It is living, authentic Greece. Pelion does not shout about itself. It reveals itself slowly. And that is exactly what makes it special.
